About Us

DOC to CEO was founded as the educational arm of our sister company, “2nd Chance Staffing.” Simply put, “DOC to CEO” works with:

  • Ex-offenders, preparing for the transition to mainstream life
  • Businesses that are open to employing ex-offenders
  • Communities who want to support ex-offenders as they make positive changes in their lives, and thus their communities

Our goal at DOC to CEO is to create “Win-Win-Win” experiences for all concerned by:

  • Assisting Ex-Offenders in their transition from street and prison life to new lives as productive employees and valued citizens. We employ a variety of techniques to identify what ex-offenders need to change and how they can go about making those changes. Using the curriculum we have developed, we teach interpersonal skills, and instill in each client the importance of a proper attitude and the mentality required to thrive in the workplace. When a client is properly prepared, and meets our standards, we direct them to “2nd Chance Staffing” for job placement.
  • Educating Businesses on the benefits of bringing ex-offenders into the workplace, and assisting them in identifying when an ex-offender has made the changes necessary for integration into the work force. Ex-offenders possess skills and abilities that are beneficial to the business community; preparing and assisting businesses in tapping into these vital resources is critical to their success. In addition, research indicates that, all things being equal, the vast majority of consumers will choose a business that supports good causes, like the hiring of ex-offenders, over one that does not. DOC to CEO and 2nd Chance Staffing work closely with businesses committed to bringing ex-offenders into their work force, and giving businesses constant support once they have hired through us.
  • Strengthening Communities by developing and implementing plans and strategies for integrating ex-offenders into community life. Research indicates that when ex-offenders are gainfully employed, and active in the life of their community, recidivism (the likelihood of re-offending) decreases significantly. A lower rate of recidivism means safer and more harmonious communities. DOC to CEO increases the standard of living and makes communities better places to live.
